{"id":1354,"date":"2016-05-30T06:59:34","date_gmt":"2016-05-30T12:59:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mrc.skola.edu.mt\/?p=1354"},"modified":"2016-05-30T06:59:51","modified_gmt":"2016-05-30T12:59:51","slug":"career-exposure-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mrc.skola.edu.mt\/?p=1354","title":{"rendered":"Career Exposure 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"background: white;\"><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; color: #212121;\">On Monday the 23<\/span><sup><span style=\"font-size: 10.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; color: #212121;\">rd<\/span><\/sup><span style=\"font-size: 11.0pt; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; color: #212121;\">\u00a0of May, Maria Regina College organised a certificate ceremony for Year 10 students who participated in the \u2018Career Exposure Project\u2019. \u00a0224 students spent one full\u00a0week at various work placements in order to observe other employees at work and had the opportunity to ask questions related to the duties they carry out.\u00a0\u00a0During the month of November, students, had to fill in an application form, attend\u00a0an interview and if successful \u00a0a placement was given to them according to their preference and ranking. Students were able to link school education with employment and work and thanks to this experience, they were able to analyse and evaluate the career they experienced and will be able to make a more informed choice in the near future, when it comes to choosing a Post-Secondary course.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white;\">\r\n\t<div class=\"slideshow_container slideshow_container_style-light\" style=\"height: 200px;
