{"id":3080,"date":"2018-10-20T10:44:57","date_gmt":"2018-10-20T16:44:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mrc.skola.edu.mt\/?p=3080"},"modified":"2018-10-20T10:45:04","modified_gmt":"2018-10-20T16:45:04","slug":"music-sessions-for-students-with-hearing-impairment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mrc.skola.edu.mt\/?p=3080","title":{"rendered":"Music sessions for students with Hearing impairment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Friday 12th October, a group of students from Maria Regina College had the opportunity to attend music sessions which were led by Mr Danny Lane, a deaf musician who is also the Artistic Director of the UK Charity &#8220;Music and the deaf&#8221;. He was accompanied by Dr John Baptist Gauci. They did a session at Mellieha Primary School and another two sessions at Mosta Primary school.<br \/>\nThe idea of these sessions was to introduce the teaching of music to deaf students and students w<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">ith hearing impairments. Such students were integrated with their class mates in all of these sessions.<br \/>\nThe aim of these sessions was so that with the help of various musical instruments that were available, students will be encouraged to access and enjoy music. Sessions were hands-on and students enjoyed playing various instruments.
