The UWC Malta National Committee announced that 4 Malta-based students have been awarded needs- based or partially funded scholarships to attend differing United World Colleges across the world from September 2016.

He will commence the 2-year International Baccalaureate Diploma and experience the internationally recognized UWC educational pedagogy.
The following are comments by the four students who hail from St Augustine College, St Ignatius College and St Monica School, obviously besides Maria Regina College’s own Daryl Mifsud.

“Separation does not mean abandonment.” – Francesco Cassar
“Sharing Maltese values with students from all around the world at a UWC college is a great way to act as a Maltese Ambassador.” – Steve Farrugia
“One of the things that makes UWC different from other colleges is unity in diversity.” – Daryl Mifsud
