On Friday 19th June, Maria Regina College organised a virtual Secondary School Orientation Visit, this time for all Year 8 students who next scholastic year will be attending Mosta Secondary school.

We had another 2 sessions as cohort was split into two groups due to the large number of students. Through the use of Microsoft TEAMS students were welcomed by a very short speech by Mr Decelis, HCN and Ms Azzopardi. Students also met Ms Borg, the Assistant head who will be in charge of Year9 next scholastic year. The administration team of the school prepared a virtual tour video for the students to see what the school can offer including foyer, offices, labs, library, special rooms and outdoor premises.

The programme included a quiz based on the video about the school and another video about the College, a video about how to make Smart Choices and a poll and discussion afterwards. Students were asked to write their wish for next scholastic year. All these wishes will later be displayed at MRC Mosta Secondary next Scholastic Year. Finally we had a question and answer session. All Questions and Answers will be compiled in a document and sent to all Yr 8 students. At the end of the session, all participating students joined in a Karaoke session to Stronger Together, the song inaugurated during the Covid Period which originated from MRC Naxxar Middle School.
