For the second consecutive year, at Mellieha Primary school, during the weekend 6th to 8th May the ‘Spring for Joy Fair’ was organised. The main aim was to raise money for Puttinu Cares and Dr Klown. Her Exc. Marie Louise Coleiro Preca and the College Principal Mr Patrick Decelis were present. Apart from entertainment for the whole family, there was also a feast of cultures we have at school.
Ms Mary Rose Cordina, Head of school said that that at school there are 30 nationalities. This diversity makes our school more interesting and dynamic. Ms Cordina added that kids play together in harmony and without inhibitions and she said that she hopes they will remain like this once they get older and become our future leaders.
We also compiled a Recipe Book with recipes from around the World. Proceedings from this book will go in aid of Dr Klown u Puttinu cares. Thank you goes to all foreign parents who shared these recipes with us.
